Hey,

I'm Jesse the guy from R42 Photography!

Curious about who I am? Let me introduce you to my wild journey. Born in 1981 in Arizona, I moved to Kentucky in the early '90s. My normal childhood took a dramatic turn when I joined the Army in my junior year of high school and attended basic training between my junior and senior year. The events of 9/11 led me to deployments in Guantanamo Bay and Iraq, shaping my unique perspective on the world.

In Louisville, I protected news crews during protests, which reignited my passion for photography. This craft became my therapy after being diagnosed with PTSD, allowing me to channel my experiences into art. I see the world differently, and I want to share that vision with you.

From landscapes and wildlife to families and civil unrest, I capture life's diverse and dynamic moments. I'm also an avid music lover, deeply inspired by the Grateful Dead and classic rock 'n' roll. Let me take your photos and preserve your special moments through the lens of someone who truly understands the beauty of every moment.
