I'm Jesse the guy from R42 Photography!

Curious about who I am? Let me introduce you to my wild journey. Born in 1981 in Arizona, I moved to Kentucky in the early '90s. My normal childhood took a dramatic turn when I joined the Army in my junior year of high school and attended basic training between my junior and senior year. The events of 9/11 led me to deployments in Guantanamo Bay and Iraq, shaping my unique perspective on the world.

In Louisville, I protected news crews during protests, which reignited my passion for photography. This craft became my therapy after being diagnosed with PTSD, allowing me to channel my experiences into art. I see the world differently, and I want to share that vision with you.

From landscapes and wildlife to families and civil unrest, I capture life's diverse and dynamic moments. I'm also an avid music lover, deeply inspired by the Grateful Dead and classic rock 'n' roll.
